I am dying to get a CB600RR.. any thoughts... good bike to start on? could I get one around 3 or 4 grand?

i too have been thinking about getting a bike. the 600rr was the first thing that popped into my mind, but realized i'll probably kill myself on one since i have no experience. :hs:

An '03 600RR was one of the first bikes I rode, after pretty much learning street driving on a Kawai 636. It was slow enough for me to not get in trouble, yet fun enough for me to want to buy it off my friend.. Im sure there are better starter bikes out there, but I did just fine with it.

I wouldn't mind an RR. But I have only been riding since august and have since graduated to the 600F4I, from a shadow. Those things are DAMN nice looking. A dude at a local bike shop here got an 03 for $5600 OTD...
