id recommend a ninja 250r. they can do 100+ no problem, they accelerate 0-60 in like 5 seconds, and get 75mpg. they are great great first bikes. not to mention they are light and pretty stylish. oh, and a 2006 with zero miles is under 3 grand.

What about size? I am 6', 170 lbs of steel and I don't want to look like a 12 year old riding a scooter.

I ride 2 up on my Ninja 250r with my fiance all the time, together we weigh almost exactly 250lbs and the little bugger STILL gets up and goes.

I'm 5'10, i don't look like a monkey humping a football. Don't believe me...

My buddy's ZX6r next to me sat lower than my 250....

The bike is easy to work on, cheap to own, cheap to maintain, still gets up and goes and is a blast in the twisties.

I got a 91, Its decent. Perfect to start on. Ive had it 2 years, and im deffinately ready for something bigger. Paid $500 - needed a battery, rear brakes, oil change, and some paint. Got it yellow and repainted with spray bombz. Silver undercoat, Blue & clear coat.
