My wife has an '08 CR-V with the OEM Bridgestone Dueller tires, and 27,700 miles. I had the vehicle in for an oil change this morning, and they said the tires only have a couple thousand miles left. I had read somewhere that these tires aren't lasting too long.

My '05 TL also needed tires right at 30K. What's the deal? Why can't Honda put a tire with a little more tread life on as original equipment?

Any reccomendations for a replacement tire? The dealer quoted me on the other OEM tire, a Continental 4x4 Contact. But upon checking Tire America's site, I saw they have lousy reviews and no set mileage rating.

I may go for a Michelin. Any other advice or suggestions?
