Default Mounting a CD Changer for CRV

Just bought a Alpine CD Changer for my 98 CRV, I was thinking of mounting it below the picnic table in the spare tire well - anyone try this spot? Did it work out?

If you have any other good ideas I'd appreciate knowing what works.
Thanks

put it in the glove box....that area stays the cleanest and you don't have to worry as much about dust, moisture, all that good stuff messin up your cd magazine

the factory cd changer is under the front drivers side chair you will probably find the factory wiring harness there to facilitate the wiring so you wont have to tear the car apart putting in new wires

Default location

The 6 disk changer doesn't fit in the glove box - no room under the dash, It will fit under the driver seat, but I'm not in a big hurry to yank the driver seat to find a mounting location and drill holes.

SUV's present more problems than a normal car.

consider buying the mounting hardware from honda and mount your cd changer to the honda mount. you do not need to drill holes or remove the seat bacause the honda mounting bracket was made to go there. the factory 6 disc changer is an alpine and is probably about the same size as your cd changer.
