Default Trading for 2003 Honda Odyssey???

What do you guys think of this deal? I'm trading my wife's 99 Corolla Le w/ 33500 miles on it for a brand new 03 Odyssey Ex-L. We still have about $5600 on the Corolla and we will down $3000. If we can get the monthly payment under $425, would that be a good deal? I need some opinions on this cuz I've already down $1000 ahead and I have til Tuesday. Would love to get rid of my Accord for Lexus or BMW, but I can't anymore cause of the this trade.

I really dunno if it's a good deal. Are you buying or what? If so, what APR are you looking at? If leasing, how long? What're the terms?

But the real good deal is going from a Corolla to an Odyssey  Them things haul ass.

I don't know that APR or the trade-in cost of the Corolla yet cause the guy that was suppose to check out the car wasn't there. I'm thinking the APR might be 4-6% for a brand new car. It's going to be a 5yrs loan and the exact cost of the Odyssey is still unknown. What I know is that the dealer wants $32,000, but some of the stuff that they put on will be taken off so that the monthly payment comes out to be around $400 a month. Who knows, maybe they won't take anything out and give me a good deal since it's the end of the month. That Odyssey pushes out 240HP and it's way faster than my 99 Accord 4cyl. The first thing I want to put in it is the dvd entertainment.

I hope $32,000 is in CAN, otherwise go to another dealer or bargain a little better. I can imagine MAYBE 30 grand with DVD Navigation and DVD RES installed, but you don't have either from what it sounds like.

DVD Entertainment is a factory option, it'd best serve you to buy it with the vehicle so it'd get financed alongside of it to make payments easier.
