A lot of people on other sites say that they are "crappy".
what about you guys on here?

i need a 5speed CRV tranny but cant seem to find one any where...
is there a site where i can buy one, that you know of?

 

crv's were only automatic as far as i know

 

There were an handful of FWD 5spds early on.. but I'm 99% that by 2000, they switched to auto trans only.

Why do you need a CRV trans anyway? :eh:

If all you need is a B-series manual transmission for a FWD application, go with the far more common S80 trans out of a 94-01 DC / DB Integra.

 

no..i need a 5 speed B20 tranny for a project that a bunch people i know need...they do make 5 speed ones but they are very hard to find!

 

Well, just keep plugging away and keep calling the wrecker's yards.

If all else fails, HAP Recycling is one of the largest Honda / Acura specific yards out here in CA. The shipping will probably kill you, but the odds are that you'll find what you need through them.
