ok...so I tried to program the remote that I purchased off of E-bay several times following the instructions posted on these forums for a 2004 honda odyssey...however....it did not work...so after sitting for 20 minutes in texas 106 weather with no a/c (obviously I could not turn it on) I have given up...this remote is very different than what I have seen as it has the trunk open option...I am very confused and trying to avoid a trip to the dealership to be asked a bunch of questions and given a lecture on not buying from them personally and so on and so forth....ANY help at this point will be useful...thank you

You May Have Wrong Remote. You Have To Check Numbers On Back To Original Remote. Odyssey Does Not Have Trunk Open Button - Just Lock, Unlock, Sliding Door Left, Sliding Door Right, And Panic Button. I Just Got One On Ebay, Have To Check Numbers On Back!
