can anyone help w/ some dash lights? both my "brake" and "maint" lights are on. I just changed the brake pads myself and it's my understanding that these can easily be turned off w/ the key if you have the secret handshake.
I know, I should really buy a manual.

Your brake light on your dash?? Check the brake fluid level, it may be low. The light can also come on if the ebrake is not all the way down. As far as the maintainance light, do a search on how to turn it off. I don't know what the specifics on how to reset it on your car otherwise I would tell you how.

 

To turn off the maint light, hold the trip odometer reset button in while you start the car and keep it in for 5-10 sec after the car is running. I don't remember the exact time you have to hold it in, but I'm pretty sure it's less then 10 seconds.
