Default Differences between the CRV and TSX V-Tec engine?

My dad owns an 04 CRV and we were wondering what the differences were between the V-Teci in the TSX ( 200 hp & 166 ft-lbs of torque) and the CRV (160 hp & 162 ft-lbs of torque). We would like to know what the differences are, for instance if changing an intake manifold to the one that is in the TSX gains 10 hp than that would be an effective addition. Any help is appreciated.

The CRV engine is a B20 AFAIK, the TSX engine is a K24. There's a huge difference between the B series (and it's MANY subseries, i.e. Old Prelude B20, New CRV B20, etc.)

TSX engine uses the new i-VTEC (It's not V-TECH, VTEK, matter of a fact, IT DOESN'T HAVE A DASH OR AN H OR A K ON THE END. Simple VTEC.).

Beyond that, I'll let the pros field the internals and externals of the two engines.

you are so wrong
The B20 was in the late generation CRV.
The CRV has a milder tuned K-series with only the intake cam having VTEC, not the exhaust cam.

just because the old prelude engine is a b20 doesn't mean shit. Nothing transfers between that block and the newer b-series found in civics and tegs.

"The B20 was in the late generation CRV.

That is what I am asking, what are the components that make the CRV K-series engine less powerfull than the TSX K-series engine (ie. intakes are different or different exhaust) and are these components interchangeable between the "detuned" CRV engine and the TSX engine. Because if I ever have to replace the exhaust if it rusts out or if some part fails I would be inclined to replace it with a part from a TSX if that was possible. Again any help is appreciated.

To get to where TSX is, you will need a TSX ECU, intake manifold (very expensive), and better flowing exahust.

Mind you, TSX makes 200hp @ 7400 rpm... at 6500 rpm (about where the CRV/Accord I4 cuts off) it only makes a bit more then the CRV.
