You can do more with an Insight. There is a Californian company that has one with K20 and races it to drag strips. Here is the link from a greek club with this subject.

well i was thinking about buying an insight (i wanted one soo bad but i don't think it is worth th $18000 price tag), but had to settle with a crx. Later on i am gonna turn my bestie into a priject car and get an Insight to make up for betsie's pollutions, unless an insight can be turned into a moster, then it would be the other way around. Maybe this should be turned into a reality tv show "Pimp My Insight" or something 'cause eventhough they show crap on tv now, this would be worth while. Ohk i am just rambling now!
