It is a pain to replace. The heater core sits in the heater assembly which is under your dash. To replace you will need to remove center console, glove box, blower assembly, and dash not to mention you will have to unhook everything in the way including your A/C connections to the evaporator. Just for reference your heater core sits inside here (see the copper part in the middle):
