Yeah, some gnarly inline-6s will fit into that engine bay. One of my old coworkers is working on getting the sr20det swap for his 240... which will make it damn fast.

I still prefer my GS-R... but I know it wouldn't hold a candle to a nicely swapped 240sx... but those are in a different league...

The RB25DET is a swappable motor but the swap is not quite as simple as SCC would have you believe. It also adds almost 200 lbs to the car. The RB26DETT aside from being prohibitively expensive will most definitely not fit in the 240.

Regardless, it doesn't matter what you can swap into the car unless you actually swap it.

Everyone is getting a 240 around here so they can 'drift'
I don't like the way they look compared to an integra.

Im sorry but 240's are slow as balls unswapped. I pull on them like there standiing still. Not a sports car in stock form what-so-ever. Crappy handling stock, sluggish motor...its really got nothing until u get into the aftermarket.

I drove my sister's 95 automatic 240SX and got beat by a half car by my friend's automatic Civic EX w/ I/H/E on 17's. I can ****in rock my friend's Civic in my GS with just Intake/Clutch/Flywheel. I came to the conclusion that I could beat an automatic 240 by atleast 3-4 cars. So even for me, a manual wouldn't beat me by more than a car. RWD and low end power hypes them up. My sister had nothing but problem after problem with hers. Not saying it's every 240, but Honda definitely takes Nissan in reliability.

I think the average Sentra is just as reliable as the average Civic.

Man are you sure you were in drive and not reverse? Well the 95 240's are kinda heavy. And I'm sure your sister has no mods on her car. My 240sx has I/H/E ASP pulley and Electric fans. And I have not had a GS or Civic with the same mods as me beat me stick or auto. And as for relability No problems for me or my friend since we got our cars. So I am sorry you had a bad experiance with the 240sx. I am not trying to bash on the integra either or if not I would not have one. Just stating some facts.
