Ok, ur first problem is its a honda, as stated b4, i have an 87 Monte Carlo with a V8, now thats torque, and off the line power. Dont get me wrong, im retiring the Monte to storage for an Integra, cant go wrong with it, just cant expect it to be fast stock. Second problem is its a GS-R, in my opinion, i think GS-Rs are overrated, i'd rather get an LS and for the difference u save by not getting GS-R, u could get a turbo, and kill a GS-R. but thats just my opinion.

He could always try a nice 1969 Hemi Roadrunner. Factory rated at 425 hp and 490 ft-lbs, however in that day factory ratings where lower then actual ratings. Expect 500+ ft-lbs of torque out of one of them, bone stock. :naughty:

Factory stock standing 1/4 mile: 13.32 seconds at 107.7 mph (Super Stock, May 1969)

A 1969 440 six pack Roadrunner was factory rated at 375 hp and 490 ft-lbs, and when it was tested it gave a 13.09@111mph 1/4 mile stock! (Super Stock, June 1969)

Old school V8's pollute like none other though. h:

if your shifting that low you never get into vtec where the engine has most of it's power.

you wont work taht honda engine to hard my gsr's been through 108,000 miles of brutual torture my dad used to occioasnlly drive it hard my brother and i got ahold of it at 90,000 and it hasn't been out without redlining it. and if u want to get better starts launch the car at about 4 and feed it the clutch get those tires spining it's faster. if u don't feel like doing taht don't floor the accelerator right out of the hole if your not gonna launch if u do you'll bog the engine down and will be slower feed it the clutch and gas tehn
