i'm sure it can be done because either Ed Bergenholtz (sp??) or Stephan Papakadis (sp??? :dunno: ) had a H22 transversed mounted with a custom built tranny to fit so that the car would still be a front wheel drive. it's been such a long time that i forgot which car it was.

on a side note, if someone wanted to convert the car into a FR drive car, i don't think a civic nor an integra would have enough room underneath to clear the transmission unless you conduct some massive surgery. h:

It would be easier to swap in an NSX motor.

yes! the folks that modify integra type r motors into lotus elise's are workin on and will come out with a new kit incorporating the K20(RSX type s, new ITR) transmission with the F20(S2000 motor), so yes, it is possible.

how dependable is a FR civic/integra going to be anyway? i would want to be able to throw that thing around. remember, there are techs that get paid millions to fine tune a car so that it opperates properly. you could go and get an AWD integra from japan, that might be the easiest to convert, then again if you want to get that serious you might as well just import a sylvia.
shit man, get me one while you are at it.
