Well you are both right....The higher compression the more power your car makes..but the more likely you are to detonate...I was curious about that myself..cause the R's comp ratio is kinda high for turbo..but i see more and more people putting this drag gen kit on ..stock...thats why im asking turboITR all these ?'s...if it's reliable...ill try it...reliable...in a turbo sense i mean..no forced induction is "reliable"..but you know what i mean

idle is same as stock. ive been running this turbo for 8k miles now daily driven and no problems so far.

as i said before, the key is the tuning.

Any tips on tuning? I take you at least upgraded fuel delivery in some way (larger injectors, fuel pressure regulator or management unit, perhaps?) or water cooled? Just speculating Niiiiice setup, though. It's gives hope to me as I wanted to do more than just a normally aspirated tune

i have rc 310's for right now along with a 8:1 fmu disc and vafc.
as for tuning, go to a place where they are very knowagable (sp?) and spend a few hours on the dyno.

id say i spent around 7-9 hrs on the dyno since the turbo install.

Sounds good. How about the fuel pump? Is the stock pump good enough for this type of application to run consistently stoich? I'd be worried about that going dead on me from excessive fuel demands Did the Drag Gen 3 kit have everything required or did you have to buy/upgrade some of the parts?

the drag kit came with everything i needed. i just opted of the tial wastegate and better oil return lines.

other than that i just got some greddy guages.
