well you can lower it with $150 with springs, but sooner or later your stock struts will blow and you'll have to get aftermarket ones. so if you wnat you could spend $150 now and then save some money and get shocks when you need them

Careful with the rear control arm bolts, they snap easy. We were lowering RiceBurninVTEC's teg, and one of the heads on the bolt snapped and to top that off the bolts were ceased to the bushings. We spent a long ass time drilling and grinding them out. If you are going to do it urself, just buy new control arms to save the time.

Get spings made a company that is reputable like Eibach, Tein or some other company that has a good rep. when it comes to springs. I wouldn't buy the EBAY SPECIALS because you don't know what the spring rates are, they could be too soft or too firm for your ride and you won't be happy. I redid my suspension with an Energy Suspension urathane kit, Eibach Pro kit springs and Kyb Grs-2 struts all around and love the way the teg handles and takes turns, it handles like it's on rails. Do it right the first time and you will be happy in the long run.

A wise man once said, "If it handles like it's on rails, you're not going fast enough."

Cut the springs, man! You too can have a home depot hack saw mod. And if you can find a home depot sticker to put on your window, you'll surely be pulling over 1 lateral g.

Guys so if i just get springs installed with stock shocks on my car, like eibech or h&r, then will i have to do anything else, like get alignment done or anything? And also same question if i do the same thing but with aftermarket shocks, for example tociko. Thanks

Don't cheap out on this. Buy quality.
Do it once, do it right. Please.

They would be alright but if you read the auction the items are on backorder from his distributer, so it could be a while before you get these and by a while I mean 2.5 weeks might even take a month before you could get them. I know from past experience when I used to work for a friend who has a shop.
