Default greddy sp exhaust for my type R?

hey guys,

i am considering buying an exhaust for my type R. i am not going to touch the internals of my engine (or at least don't plan to as of now), but i am planning on doing other things, but keeping my engine strictly NA. i have an AEM CAI and that's all. i plan on a spoon throttle body, headers and a high-flow cat, as of right now.
i have heard only good things about the greddy sp and i liek it myself. from the design, the fact that it's 50 state legal, and also that it's not too loud and not too soft, which don't attract the cops. i am looking for more increased flow and a good mid to high end horsepower gain without sacrificing low end torque. i heard with things such as an intake, headers and things, can really make this exhaust great. a buddy of mine has a gs-r with a supercharger and has this exhaust. his car is incredible.
also, what kind of headers and cat do you guys think will be good? and is 2.5" piping too much for my kind of setup (NA)?

any help will do. thanks. (sorry for the long ass thread)

What is your budget like? If you are going to replace your header back look into the Hytech ITR header back exhaust. It's gain are phenomenal especially with some tuning and cam gears. Check this link out for more info...Hytech Exhaust

Oh and its header...not headers...the ITR has only one of them.

yea the hytech is a great system but not everybody has $2100 to spend on a header exhaust setup.

you could go for a jdm itr 4-1 header and 2.5 in carsound cat and have a 2.5 exhaust custom made. oh and that spoon throttle body is probably overkill unless you do serious internal work to allow the engine to breath better. but if you're set on a 70mm tb, look into the ericks racing piece. same size but $300 cheaper.
