First of all the good news, I finally got a integ (1997 LS Hatch)!! 53,000 miles for $7500! But yesterday was the first time I ever drove stick.

it seems like whenever I put the shifter in 3rd, there's a small rattling noise and the acceleration feels really weak. (4th and 5th gears run strong though...) Is this the case for all the integras out there? Or am I just a pathetic newbie at stick shift?

Plz help this newbie out!!

 

are you sure that your not missing 3rd and going into 5th?
