DVPGSR is right on the money; the Mugen headgasket will RAISE your compression (which is not something you want to do when boosting an ITR....). You'll want something like an Inline Pro headgasket (lowers compression). It wouldn't hurt either to invest in some ARP Studs or even a block guard (be careful when installing this). There are also a few unworthy components in that Drag kit you should replace (aka. the crap delta wastegate with a Tial wastegate). Good luck...

ps. If you're still set on going turbo you'll have to sell the CAI, Mugen header, and *maybe* the exhaust.

What do you mean by selling the CAI? I love my CAI and hearing it wind down when I shut the car down. I did contact my supplier and ask to upgrade the wastegate to the Tial as you suggested.

I contacted Carboys in Houston. One of their reps told me that I need a new fuel pump b/c the Drag kit will destroy my engine...doesn't sound like anyone else has mentioned this replacement or any fuel issues. I am now hesitant to go see these guys.

I just got the gauges and Apexi turbo timer in last Friday. The rest of the turbo kit should be in this week. I may have a couple of friends help me install it. I am concerned about the oil return line and how to keep it from leaking. My friends do not have any welding equipment. I have heard of people using a kind of tape to secure the oil return lines, but it is not suggested.

Any ideas?

you'll need to sell your intake cause the piping coming from the intercooler will replace it

Well, time is running out. I am planning to ship off to Fort Knox, KY on the 20th of this month. Still no turbo or intercooler. I spoke w/ my rep yesterday. The turbo was shipped out on Friday and is in MS as of Monday. My rep also is shipping an intercooler that he had on hand but had a small dent on the bottom side. B/c I am shipping out in two weeks, he promised to send me a new intercooler after I am established at Knox. The Tail wastegate came in. Looks good.

My wife's brother was big into racing a few years back and has plenty of experience w/ mods having worked at a mod shop. We should be able to start working on my car this weekend.

I still do not understand what the deal is w/ those that are against adding a turbo to a B18C5. Should I have gotten a lesser engine and then upgarded? What kind of logic is that? Why not start out w/ an awesome platform and then from there?

The b18c5 is a high compression na engine. Running boost on the stock engine will surely destroy the motor quickly. You are completely wasting a perfectly good itr. They are meant to be driven at road courses or auto x's not down the drag strip. The road course is its natural habitat. Honda didnt do all the extra mods to it just so some dumb american could drag race it.
