Hmmm I would stay away from engine mods for now, and work on that suspension...hehehe
I'm not talking bars or anything like that, cuz those dont matter if you're going in a straight line, but good a good shock and spring/coilover combo will definitely help your 60 foots.
Tires play a crucial role also. Try a set of Falken Azenis on some 14" steelies, they'll hook up better than your Ecstas, plus you cant go wrong for the price. If you're on 15's or bigger, the 14's will also shorten your LS gearing and also help bring those times down a minor bit.

I'm on 14's. Perhaps getting springs/shocks would be a good idea. It would look nice by eliminating some nasty nasty wheel gap. Also, since my clutch grabs so hard, when I shift, the back of my car slams...so if I had stiffer suspension, I suppose it would help with that. Cuz I've been wanting to lower my car but favored going the performance route more, but with springs/shocks I can do both
I just got my tires and they actually grab good, so I won't be looking for new ones for awhile. It looks like now I'm probably going for exhaust, then a decent suspension set-up, maybe KYB and H&R or something like that.

As for the stock ITR intake manifold, i've heard of a few being modified to fit.

itr heads are made from the same cast as the b16a head, hence the swappability with both manifolds.

uh...i think there's some confusion:
ITR INTAKE manifold won't bolt up to an LS head. However, an ITR EXHAUST manifold will bolt up. The ports are the same size, however, the location of the collector/cat. will be different - so you'll need to extend/shorten you exhaust piping.
