Default AC + Corner = WATER!! ??????????

Just curious if anyone else has experanced anything of this nature before. I had my AC on yesterday while I took a long ride so Im thinking 45min or so the AC was running. I then stopped for about 30min while at the mall... Then when leaving and taking a left hand turn all this water just started dropping out from what looked like under my glove box. I presuming is AC related.. Although I didnt think it was supposed to drain on the passenger side floor mat.

> Im talking like half a cup of water here.. Not a couple of drop..

Lots of built up condensation = no fun. My 91 teg used to do that...bad actually, I'm hoping that the 95 teg I jsut got won't have that same problem.

No it is not normal!! The water you see is the moisture the evaporator collects when the AC is on. Your drain tube for the evaporator housing is probably clogged with crap. You have to go under the car and look for the hose. Its under the battery area, and blow it out. Its clogged up so the water has no where else to go except in the car.

Needle nose fitting on a compressed air gun works wonders, just blow up the drain tube. My bros Pathfinder dumped about a gallon of water out.

might just be a loose hose. it happens to civics as well. somewhere underneath the glove box, there is a hose that flows the water condensation from the a/c ducts out of the interior. my friend's civic leaked horribly and i found that hose to be loose. just hook it back up.

Dont go under your car, it will just blow the crap into your evap,.. go under your passenger side dash and follow the evap(looks like a black box) to a point in the fire wall, there will be a hose attached there, from ther only there grab a air compressor and pull the hose off the evap and blow the air from there so it goes outside, you might have to pull your pass carpet to get to it, good luck
