Default Do Or Do Not?

Sup peoples? I'm a noob, and I have a question. Actually I think I know the answer, but am asking anyway to see if anyone agrees. There is a guy in my apt. complex that has a 1991 Integra sedan for sale. The body is straight and its already dropped. He's removed the stereo but left all of the wiring (so I can basically pop one in). Now here is the questionable part. He claims that the engine is shot and is willing to part with the car for $100.

My friend and I have been shopping for Integra motors at the salvage yard so that if I do purchase this car, I can build the motor to my likings with all the goodies. Well, thats it. Any suggestions? The floor is yours gentlemen (and ladies if there are any out there)........

Well, what is your budget? What are you trying to do?

edit: Also, if he's letting it go for $100, I'd be REAL skeptical.

honestly for only 100 $, make sure he has title and paid registration, and pik that car up. if it still has the frame, tires, anything u can sell the parts off separately or build up a motor from there. 100$ for a shell of the car is worth it, u can make sum videos and blow it up, worth the money to destroy a car like running it over a cliff!

as long as that car is legit and not stolen and he has the title and pink slip to prove his the owner, then bad engine or not, id buy it today for $100. heck, i dont even care if it doesnt have an engine. with a 91 body, i can basically drop in any B-series engine from 91+, making my choices huge and affordable. like someone else said, thatd make one hell of a project car...especially since i love 4dr tegs

It could either be an awesome project car like everyone else said, or if it comes down to it you could just charge people 5 bucks to take swings at it with a sledgehammer, I bet you you'd come out with a profit. hehehe :naughty:

well, heck a 100bucks for a car isnt bad, like u said the engine is already shot, probably the tranny is too.

i mean as long as its not stolen or whatever, then u should be straight. u can get b18s or b16s motors now for very very cheap these days.
