Default exhaust advice

People i needed some advice on a cat back, im looking at a apexi world sport. I want something as stock sounding as possible and something that fits so well that it looks almost stock just with a big tip. also which header is better, comptech, greddy, ractive or dc sports? All 4-2-1. By the way I have a 2001 Integra LS coupe. Thanks you all.....

Oh by the way if you all could post some pics of your cars with the exhausts that would be great! Thank you again

if u just want nice/stock looking with deep tone then get a dc sport exhaust system (single canister), greddy sp or tanabe hyper medalion. For header, go for dc 4-2-1, stainless steel or ceramic is ur choice.

well if i would be moving to canada, is it better to go with a stainless steel header? Again I dont want the exhaust to be too loud nor do i want it to look too out of place.

For the headers you listed, Comptech is great for a relatively stock motor, although it costs quite a bit more than the DC piece. If your budget allows you to mention Comptech and Greddy next to DC and Ractive, go for the Comptech.

So Shingo is greddy as good as the comptech for the header? and what about the exhaust that is not too loud and looks really stock.

for a basically stock motor, go with a comptech 4-2-1, but DC JDM 4-1 will flow better and JDM 4-1 is pretty good also.

and for exhaust, comptech also makes a good exhaust, but greddy sp, dc sports, apexi ws, and RSR(if u can find them) are all pretty quiet and dont have that big canister muffler. or u can go sleeper look and use a ITR exhaust, which is already 2.25" piping it will flow better than your stock ls exhaust and no noise.

its cool man, everyone is here to learn.

ITR means, Integra Type R. the stock integra type r exhaust is 2.25inch piping, which would flow better than a stock ls exhaust and wouldnt have any noise.

will it flow better than aftermarket exhaust?? dont really know, but i would believe that the aftermarket exhaust would flow better cuz of the design of the piping and the straight thru design of the mufflers.

right now im running a T1R(Type One Racing) bpipe which is 2.5inch piping going to the stock ITR axleback. flows pretty good and no exhaust noise.

Please don't even bother to consider Ractive as a viable option--they're crap.

I personally would stick with as much stainlesspiping as possible. The reason everyone refers to the cheaper headers as "ceramic" is not because they are made out of ceramic but because they are made of lower-grade steel and have a ceramic coating to help prevent rusting.

That said, the A'PEXi World Sport is nice but one of the reasons that it provides a very mild sound is that the only thing stainless about it is the muffler itself. The pipes are all mild steel. The DC Sports exhaust is full stainless as is Comptech--which one you pick is really a matter of budget. Same deal with headers, as long as you go stainless there's not really a bad one in the bunch (except for the Ractive of course). The fact is that at most you'll see a variation of maybe 2-3 hp from each one if you're just sticking with bolt on mods.
