if you get the AEM plug & play unit you wont need the VAFC unless you want to change your cross over

my 2 cents

get the AVC-R

You'll be faster if you replace Vortech with either a JRSC or off-the-shelf turbo component. I was considering the Vortech unit awhile back but it was more for the linear/predictable power gains versus overall blazing straight-line speed. I'm also pretty sure you can't use the AEM V2 with the Vortech.

Youve got a lot ot research ahead.

A bunch of those components cant be used in conjunction with each other, or are totally worthless.

My advice? Read a TON about SC's and turbos. Dont rush into things, and dont jump into conclusions when you read something and *think* youve made your decision. Take your time, research both routes and decide what you want.

THEN start putting together a list, step by step, of what you want to do with it.

I think you should attack one area of upgrades at a time. Wheels/tires, suspension, brakes, engine are all different. Plan to do each on its own rather than making a budget and thinking about which ones you can afford.

The AEM EMS can change VTEC crossover so the V-AFC would be totally redundant, and the AVC-R is an electronic boost controller.

JRSC is alright. It really depends on what you want in the car. JRSC is more for low end and mid range power. while the vortech is just all topend. if u just like something a little faster for the streets and not really into drag racing at the track then go with the JRSC. u will make alot more power with the vortech than with the JRSC.

as far as other mods, u should look into hondata, cheaper than aem ems and apexi fc.

also if u run the JRSC, u will need a header with short and fat primaries with a 2.5'' collector. ive made 16whp with the kamikaze 4-1 header and testpipe.

also u dont want to run a cai with the JRSC. u will get all the air you need from the charger so u will need to look into a intake will good throttle response.

look into a fuel pump instead of fuel rail. waste of money, plus for the plugs i used the denso iriduim one stage colder.
