I bought one from www.auto-xtreme.com
They have good prices and I got the intake about 4 days later.
All in all, I'm pleased with it. The car feels a little faster than the
$30 ebay special I had before.

My friend Lindsey has one for her car. I'm yet to drive it though. I guess she had to swap the motor mount for it to fit.

Hopefully that's not the placebo effect. I was also considering purchasing that CAI, but looking at the dynograph plots, it doesn't seem worth it, especially since it robs horsepower during certain RPM ranges.

i don't see how this produces more power...oh, and that larger diameter 'tube' - is nothing more than a heatshield.

Yep... according to AEMs propaganda, the double walled pipe is made so that the "frequencies of the soundwaves coming in through the intake optimize and stabilize the airflow" or some similar BS. Anyone with brains can see it's just a double-walled insulation pipe.... I used to think AEM wasn't that bad, but after claiming that shit, it's clear they moved from to performance to ricer equipment
