LS= stronger block, better torque, lower compression ratio (good for turbo) you will be able to run higher psi wth the LS...

GSR= weaker block (it will prolly crack before the LS), higher compression ratio, which means less psi, unless u dump a shitload of money into it for tuning (and i mean FINE tuning), the higher insurance would make somewhat of a diff. maybe not for some

basically you can put less money into an LS and get just as good of not better results. the only agrument i can think of would be a smaller turbo in either car so that it will spool up faster and give you a little bit better edge at the beginning of your run...thats pretty much all i have to say about that...

Bringing this up again lol?

A LS is cheaper to build up.

A turbo GSR at 8 psi will spank a LS running 10 psi.

Get whatever you can afford. This thread is going to be locked very soon.

A GSR at 8psi will be about equal to an LS at 10psi on average

Please elaborate why the GS-R block is weaker than the LS block. Please elaborate why the GS-R block is weaker with a block girdle while the LS doesn't have one.

Stop posting crappy one-liners in my forum if you can't back it up.
