Default Need Help on Broken Bolt

I was re-installing my front strut tower bar on my GS-R, and one bolt I tightened it to much, and I managed to break off the threaded thing that the bolt screws on. I tried to hammer out that broken thread but it doesn't comes out. I looked under the wheel well, and I see where it goes in, but i can't seem to get it out. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks..

From the sounds of it you broke off the bolt that attaches your upper A-arm. If that is the problem, you are gonna have to replace the upper A-arm. But that is not too hard to do.

Seriously tho....you can drill it out and put one of those sleeve things in so you can put a new bolt in. I forget what they are called. Do you know if the bolt was #5 case hardened? If so you may need a titanium bit for that. If it was then it would have 3 little dashes forming a Y with spaces in between them on the head that you broke off. My auto tech teach told me about this but i forget what the thing is that you put in the hole once you have destroyed all the threads getting the shank out. Good luck. By the way, you may want to get more opinions on this. Im pretty new to auto tech.
