so u got comm error in the scanner, 97 integra ecu's are not CAN yet so it should not have any problem..

like i mentioned before, try borrowing a different scanner from a local shop just to see if it will communicate.

thats the only way i guess

 

Im going to pepboys sometime this week to see if their scanner works,

they do it for free there i just asked today, but i didn't have the car there.
