My First Car!!! PICS INSIDE
heres what one of my friends told me about the motor
"The motor is the second best to the vtec, it is the call the b18b dohc, it has more torque than the vtec motor. I bought it without vtec, so that I can swap the head with a vtec head, so that means you get the vtec and the torque, which can be stronger than a regular vtec, even though I ended up doing to my 92 civic, because it weighs lighter than the Integra. The block on that car, in California, street racer would die to get it and do what I just explain above to get extra ponies without going force induction. Call me or email me if you want some advice to get some real big power on that car and still be everyday driven. I use to build Honda drag cars in California, before I moved to Colorado. One of my close friend that use to work with me now owns his own racing company, and now is located in Houston, TX, And Los Angeles, CA. So don’t let any body who claims that they know about import cars tell you that your motors suck because it’s not a vtec (b18c1)(b16a) or (b16b). Maybe when I am finally settled down in Texas, I will go and get my civic in California to prove my words are true. I mean there’s more detail you have to do with it, but what I explain above is the shortest way to explain the potential of that motor you now own. Don’t be fool by all these fools I see everyday in Texas who don’t know what they are doing. Oh, yeah if you ever want that motor to run like new again, all you have to do is take the motor apart and take it to a machinist to have bored and resleeve it and “Walla” like new again. It might cause a couple of bills though. "

Street racing is stupid..its an okay motor, the VTEC imo is overrated. stay with what you got and do some hard-care engine performance. dont just stop at the AEMCAI just cause everyone with a teg has one. Go in depth, more-so than %90 of the people who post here, and you will havea enat car.
