work on those 60 ft times, you should be pulling 2.2's at least on streets (of course track condition,etc)....how many times did you run? first time to the track?

start at 2500rpms and work yourself up, i usually just drop the clutch and modulate the gas.....

good luck

keep trying you'll get there

No matter what car you drive out there, if it has street tyres you can't get a good launce, and that was my second run of the night I don't like ragging on my car to much. I also think my clutch needs to be replaced with a more aggresive one. Thanks for the reply Greekbro

Yes you can get a better launch than that 2.7 60ft you pulled. Put it this way, I've pulled a 2.7 60ft in my sister's automatic Integra. Your clutch is fine, with your skill right now the least thing you would want is a tougher clutch to deal with.

Practice makes perfect. Keep on figuring out your most comfortable way to launch. Some people like to dump the clutch, some people like to slip. Shave those tenths off that 60ft and you'll see much better results in your elapsed time.
