creaking exhaust

Default creaking exhaust

i just got a greddy evo exhaust. it kinda creaks and rattles, especially the first time i start it in the morning. why and can i fix it?

Mine does the same thing, it sounds like its rubbing against something in the rear...

You may have a loost bolt along the piping. Either that or your heatshields are rubbing against it. Do you hear a tin like sound when you move the shifter left and right?

maybe its vibrating against your rear bumper?

Mine does that too... my problem was that one of the muffler
hangar arms sits real close to this metal hook thingy
in the rear. When the exhaust vibrates at around 3500
it makes a gross metallic rattle.

I actaully put a piece of my foam mouse pad in bettween two
see if that was where the noise was coming from.
It stopped the noise... now I just gotta come up with a
permenant solution.

yep...that was it. stuck a piece of plastic in there and the problem was solved
