Just a figure of speech.

What I was trying to say is that the previous ownew missed shifts(alot) and the trany needs new gears

He probably killed the syncros. It takes a lot to shred up the gears. And I mean a LOT.

My GS has a GSR transmission. It truly makes a difference.

I shift at 4500 RPM instead of 4000 RPM. I don't have the exact figures, but I can tell you I beat other LSs easily.

It's a modification that is really worth it.
