Sweet. I thought you might need an engine lift or something...

A lift would make it go super fast but you can pull it off with a couple of jacks and some 2x4s.

You can get Energy Suspension or Prothane polyurethane engine mount inserts from most performance shops. They'll keep your motor from moving around but they will give you a bunch of vibration and such transmitted directly into the cabin. If you don't mind that, then the inserts are cheaper than a torque brace.

what's a good medium between really stiff engine mount inserts and inserts that are too soft? actually, i don't really know what is wrong with my inserts, only that when i have a drastic change of rpm or torque, my engine clunks. when my car is off i can grab a hold of my engine and move it (although not much). any ideas on what my problem is? i don't want too much vibration, but i need to fix this problem. help....

It's possible that your mounts are just plain busted, and even new stock ones would solve your problem.

where can i get new stock ones for cheaper than the dealer? i haven't priced them at the dealer, but if they are like any other oem part, you'll pay out your @$$ for them. anyway, thanks for the help.
