That thing looks pretty unecessary for me, and my lack of power.

Apparently the torque brace from Mr. Alex doesn't fit Integra's. anybody know of any for Integra's?

Pop your hood with the motor running and the stick in neutral. Flick the little throttle linkage thing and watch how much the engine moves around. The only way to get rid of it is to stiffen up the mounts (i.e. with poly inserts) which increases NVH or to add a dampener. Either way it'll help reduce wheel hop and make clutch engagement feel more precise. Necessary? Maybe not. But it definitely does something.

My guess would be in the $200-$250 range.

I found the J's Racing webpage and here is the list of USA distributors:

http://www.mgracing.com/
http://www.importdevelopment.net/
http://www.a-t-s-usa.com/
http://www.racelinedevelopment.com/
http://www.jdmspecperf.com/
http://www.jdmhondaparts.com/
http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com/

I haven't checked with those individual sites to see if they list the torque brace, but that should help point you in the right direction.

VERY interesting...this would be good for my turbo, to help keep the power planted to the ground

The pic is of the brace for an RSX/DC5 Integra. J's does make one for the DC2 Integra, I just couldn't find a pic quickly.

Is it possible to install stiffer engine mounts yourself?
