i am looking at a 94 teg ls with 150k highway miles, is there a point where this engine will start to get ****ty?

 

That's around the time the rings may start to go south. Get a Compression/Leakdown test done before you consider it.

 

my integ has around 159ks on it. but its running pretty good as of right now! no problem yet but i think i need to change the timing belt

 

After my road trip this week i will be at 204,000 miles, no problems yet! Well yeah i replaced one little pulley bearing, but how many cars go 201,500 miles with 50$ in unscheduled maintenance. I would put money down that says this car will do at least 300,000

My car is a 95 GSR that had been in two accidents when i bought it (stupid deer)
I bought the car completely stock, never even heard of a GSR before, just saw an integra in the paper and drove it, paid the guy 5 minutes later
I bought mine for 5500 with 172000 miles on it, it had bald tires and needed the timing belt done soon.
I love going to the track and blowing away everything in my class (G-Stock) and then making thos bastards with the crumbling VW's look at my odometer.

Just do a compression test, and change the timing belt And you shouldn't have probs for another 100k.
