It's a really sweet looking car, but the age kind of worries me. What do you guys think? I haven't had a chance to check it out yet since it's 2 hours away from my house, but am wondering whether it's worth looking at.

I have a 98 GSR with 110K+ miles. It still runs great. I have never had a problem with it. I did change the water pump and the timing belt at 105,000. Then I drove it from Ohio to Florida and back. The only problem I had was the trying not to get a ticket.
As long as you take care of the car, it will last forever! Its a honda, they run a very long time. My family has owned hondas/acuras for a very long time. We have never had a bad one and we never got rid of one before it hit 150K. Then we got a new one.
Because it is used, I would just make sure that the normal service was taken care of. If it was and no one has made any non-factory mods to it. You should take it.

Given the age of the car, the timing belt should have been replaced in 2005 at the latest.
If you do not have a receipt proving that the timing belt and tensioner were replaced, plan on completing that service as soon as you possibly can.
If the timing belt snaps, your day -- and your motor -- will be ruined.
Of course that's assuming you buy the car.. you ought to include a new water pump and tensioner as well. If nothing else, you can talk the owner down by $600 or so.
As others have said, preventative maintenance is the key to a strong-running, long-lasting Honda. If the previous owner has full maintenance records and the car runs strong, it's certainly a worthy candidate.
Might as well take a look.
