I got 2 problems with my aem ??

Default I got 2 problems with my aem ??

Well i installed my aem CAI and now when the rpm drop below 1 the car idles a little rought, the steering wheel vibrates lol it didn't do that with a short ram ???? ANy ideas also after installing the intake i hear this rubber rubing noise, i think the intake might be touching something because it's a 3' type r aem on a b18b motor so maby thats why, anybody had the same problem????

a vibrating steering wheel is usually associated with worn engine mounts. not an intake.

yap, but it started to happen right after i installed the aem ?

I don't know, in a 2000 integra thou, oh well warranty will cover it

yea...the intake is rubbing either against your A/C hose bolt, a metal edge before the last bend in the tube in the fenderwell, or both.

i'm going to say your idle is rough because you didn't reset the ECU afterwards so it'll take a day for the computer to readjust.

take off the intake and put the stock one back on... then see if it still idles low. if so then take it back in when its stock and then they wont bitch about voiding the warranty

thanx guys, well one problem is fixed the intake tube was rubbing against the a/c hose, now with the idle i reset the ecu after the installation, i'm gonna clean the throtle body and the replace the pcv valve ( my buddy thinks that might be the problem) maby it will help a little. If nto it's off to acura
