Default Check Engine Light On

Going on everyone? Was going to work today cruising & my check engine light came on & stayed. No flashinhg. It still idle normal & full power driving.
I checked my gas cap. It's on tight. So I asked some of the fellas at work could they check for me but no one had a check engine light scanner.
I went pass Autozone to see & the people there said they're not allowed to clear it if they check it. I thought they would be able to. Might have to stop through Acuratue to see whats up.
What could it be. The light is annoying.

I'd appreciate any input if poosible.
Thanks

You didn't have the people at AutoZone pull the code while you were there?

Yeah, went on and had it checked. Its a bad cat. dealer price $1000. If anyone ever had changed their cat. Where did you order yours from? The guy said I got my money worth w/ 176K considering they usually last up to 90K.

Any input greatly appreciated

Any online autoparts store, you can find one for ~$100. I got a Magnaflow OE, for $115 from autopartswarehouse.

So Line 7. I'm looking at the site you mentioned. I see a magnaflow for $89.42 direct fit. BTW it's a 99,000 series. Is that the one you have for your ride. So is it a gsr?
