U seem like u know a lot about this dubbster, i thank u. i knew i couldnt use my skunk2 im. i think i am pretty set now on what i am going to do, the zex dry kit seem nice. But the even distribution between the cylinders is still on my mind, so i'll think about it a little more. Dubbster 1 more question my friend has a zex dry kit he wants to sell me for 400 with a purdge. he said he used like 11 bottles worth on that kit before he got his wet kit. Is this a good buy or should i just purchase a new kit?And does it even matter the usage on that?

Thanks, got to go now though

Yes usage on the kit matters. Kits that are pretty old tend to have bad solenoids, or solenoids that are about to go bad. 11 bottles isn't a whole lot of usage, so that's not a bad deal at all.

I know this thread hasn't been talked on in a couple months, but I was searching on the Zex kit, because I was planning on buying the Zex Dry smart kit and running a 75 shot here soon on my gsr with i/h/e/intake manifold, aem fuel rail and cams.

I figured I would just add on to this thread. Dubster do you think I will be good running Zex's dry smart kit with a 75 shot on my motor with those mods without pushing my motor too hard. I plan on buying the Zex spark plugs too, I think they're the degree colder or something and then retarding my timing to whatever Zex says it shoudl be retarded to. Will I be fine with this? Or should I just stick with a 55 or 65 shot?? Thanks, and any help is appreciated.

You'll be fine with a 75 shot and retarded timing. Don't bother with the Zex plugs, I owned them...they sucke. Get yourself some NGK copper plugs, part # BKR7E, and gap them to .030". This is the plug that I run, and most people I know that spray run. Have you made any fuel adjustments for the cams yet? Are you running a chipped ecu?

Alright I'll take your word for it on the plugs. My Skunk2 stage1 cams are in the mail right now, I am waiting for them to get here. But no I haven't made any fuel adjustments and I'm not running a chipped ecu. What kind of fuel adjustments do you suggest I make?

You may want to get an adjustable FPR, you'll probably want it with cams anyways to bump the fuel up a few PSI. Other than that, nothin.
