i think the pads are what you want to look at for stopping power...in street apps anyway.

The limitations on stopping power are based on your tires; I believe the "bite" of the pads are determined by the material used. Aftermarket pads usually perform better under extended load (no brake fade), but don't bite as well when cold compared to OEM. Of course it only takes 1-2 normal stops to warm up the pads, so this isn't really an issue.

Thanx alot, I'll keep my OEM rotors until I get 17's and they look horrible behind them.

yeah but then if you get bigger things, you can't go back to the stock 15's unless you take it all off again. unless you dont mine doing the work

They actually don't look too bad. Just don't paint your rotors and noone will notice...

Painted calipers look so hard though. Especially red ones behind while wheels on a white car. But I see your point. I might hafta fork out the extra cash for some Brembo rotors, but I don't wanna go through brake pads like mad. I thought performance pads wouldn't get eatin alive by cross-drilled and slotted rotors hence the "performance" part.
