Default AEM Type R intake on a LS

Hey guys! Not too sure if anyone could help me but i just got a aem type r intake pretty cheap just wondering if the type r intake could be used in a 94 LS. Thank for any help. :thumbup:

got one on my teg, you will need to get a rubber 3 in to 2" or 2.5 reducer to fit it nicelly over throttle body or you can use the stock typ r but it's too big and it looks like crap when you clamp it down to fit but everything else fits good.

If you put a 2.5 rubber wouldn't just be a regular aem Ls intake?The reason why i'm asking is because i already have a aem ls intake on my car. Would this give more power?

An AEM ITR intake is not going to make you any more power than an AEM LS intake. :doh:

maybe he just happened to have gotten his hands on an ITR one instead of a LS one...and not actually debating between buying one of the two.

I can understand where someone who wouldn't know better would think the larger diameter of the R pipe would net more power.
