NoVA, DC, MD area has a strong, very active contingent of ITR. I'm surprised you haven't run across them already.

'97 and '98, AC was a dealer installed option in the USA.

USDM '00 and '01 cars all had AC.

I've never felt especially hampered by AC or PS while on the track.

I use my R for a daily driver, its not HIGHLY modded, but good enough for me (201whp), I even take it on LONG trips, I love my R

The worse thing about an ITR for trips/daily driver: No cruise. Granted you can install it easily enough, but still. It saves practically no weight so I still think honda should have installed it on ITRs.

I've had a '94 GS-R and an '01 ITR as both a daily driver and a track car.

They're both similar enough that arguing over which one is a better daily driver is rather silly. However, the ITR is far superior as a track car.

If it were up to me, I wish I had an ITR that also had leather seats, cruise control, moonroof (or, if you use it to check out the cows, mooroof), and map lights.

haha, i remember getting into arguements about how my friends would say the GSR was better than the TYPE-R, even modded. Back in the day, the street showed it all. =) (again, back in the day) now they drive TYPE-R's and don't know what the hell they were talking aboot!
