Default help intgra anti-freeze

do you guys know what integra's take like half and half antifreeze? anyone know my dads *****ing before we buy antifreeze for car...

go buy some name brand anti freeze and mix it half and half or 60 water and 40 anti freeze it doesnt really matter that much just as long as you have one or the other.

Make sure you use green and not orange coolant. Technically, you should be using Honda coolant since it doesnt contain Boron & Silicates which can adversely affect aluminum.

Ive been told from those in the know that its really just overpriced garbage, and any green coolant is the way to go.

Antifreze is designed to lower the freezing point of water, not to cool the engine. You need the water to cool the motor, the antifreeze is like a "water modifier" to make it more versatile for extreme conditions.

So.

You need some water in there to actually cool the motor.

do not just fill your car up with anti-freeze. even it warm weather areas you should use a 50/50 mix of anti-freeze and water.

so what do i do now that i've filled it all with anti-freeze? slowly add water as it emptys out?
