Default Squeaky GSR

Somethings wrong with the GSR when the tranny is engaged.

When the clutch is fully out there is a noise that sounds like a fan or a belt squeaking, its pretty loud now and its on as long as the clutch is out. If you put the clutch in the noise goes away though. Its slowly gettting louder but the car still runs just fine and nothing has changed.

it could be the throw out bearing or the pilot bearing.

Mine has been squeeking in the front right it sounds, and it has something to do with scircular motion because as I get faster it gets faster and goes away. Is it still possible that its a bearing? Could also be the brakes.

bullet I think its the pilot bearing, its really the only thing in the tranny/clutch that could get messed up without messing up the shifting and engagement of the clutch. It will get louder over time too. Just wait

Teg_fan- I doubt the noise goes away as you go faster. I think you just can't hear it as you go faster. I can sometimes hear mine when I'm up close to a soundwall with the window down a bit

i would agree thx247 but if it does go away at all like earlier stated, than it cant be the pilot since it is constantly spinning, would come more to say the throwout but like you said it should make things a little more rough when depressing the clutch and shifting
