Default highest milage

heh, i know this isn't a GOOD thing to have.. but im curious - just how long have tegs lasted? i don't have one (yet - hopefully soon), and was wondering how long i can expect it to last...

I have seen them last past 200,000 miles. As long as you treat it right and keep it maintained it will last a very long time

my teg that i just bought has 366,564 on the dash....thats a badge. still runs great cept for a fuelpressure issue i am having rught now... i think it is that.

acuras/honda engines do not really have a limited lifespan. If you do the things you are supposed to do, and keep up with maintenance, they could damn near outlast you..............

Exactly...it will last as long as you take care of it. My dad sold his 87 Celica GTS with 280k on it and it ran perfect. But, a car that has been heavily ragged out may only last half that long.

my last gs-r went 117,xxx before a kia totalled it. pulled on most other gs-r's.

ok, all good info to have.. should i be afraid of a newish (95-97ish) that has like 150k + on it? i'd really like to get one, but money is an issue..

I have a 94 gsr with 117,000 on it and its running strong still just keep up the regular mantenance and itll be fine by the way whats up everyone im a new member
