Premium snows are the way to go, if it saves you from 1 accident it's worth the investment. I like my Nokian Hakkapeliitta 1's, very good snow traction.

You mean Dunlop Graspics?

Dunlop has three different tires branded as 'Graspic,' the DS-1, HS1 and HS2.

Picking the right snow tire for you is a bit tricky, it depends on how much snow you'll be using them in and what sort of dry-road characteristics you're going for since invariably you'll drive them in non snow conditions.

One of the things to keep in mind no matter what part of your car you try to mess with: there is no asolute "best."

When we had bad weather here about a month ago, I got stuck many times on my Azenis. 2nd gear starts help a lot as well, to reduce tire spin!
