If a less-than-reputable-shop performs your engine swap you'll run into problems. If you screw up a turbo install and run 30 psi on stock internals your car will run into some problems. The only difference is that the turbo LS will eat the gsr-swapped LS for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

If you want reliable speed keep your LS engine and spend money on a quality turbo setup.
