Default can someone please help me on this

i am thinking about putting ground control on my 99 integra i only want to lower it to the top of the tire, i would like to know if anyone has a simular set up and how it rides and how long the shocks last, but the main thing is the ride...i would think it would ride good cause it is not that low plus it is ground control, but if anyone can help me that would be great .
thanks, justin

I have ground control on my 96 Integra LS, and I have a custom 340# in the front and 350# in the rear.. I think that from Ground Control they provide 400# in front and 350# in rear..
But I like the ride.. It also helps that I have Tokico Illumina's that I can adjust when I autocross.
As far as the dropping, I have about 2 fingers on the front, and a little more on the rear.. but because the ground control use sleves, you can drop it as much as 4 inches I believe. (That is too low for me).. not to mention that unless you are on a race track, you will be denting/ripping things off your car.
I have had good luck with them..

Good Luck..
Joe

my suspension is in my sig and i like it. i dropped my car right to the top of the tire and it looks real clean. from what i hear skunk2's are stiffer then GC's. i still think i have an awesome setup though.

I dropped mine using gc's with kyb agx's, i'm riding on 17's and it's right to the top of the wheels.... it's not a bad ride, pretty smooth compared to other cars i've ridden in with coilovers

i dont personally have this buyt my bud has the xact same setup on his 96 accord. and it rides pretty great. he droped it alot more than what u are thingking. he first had it bout 4 inches. then when he got the kybs and camber kit he had to raise it. so now its about 2.5 inches

The GC's will blow the stock shocks out in a short amount of time. If you can't afford to get better shocks, just wait to buy everything at once. Otherwise get some better shocks.

A side note: shocks have a much greater effect on the car's handling than springs do.
