G2 Back speaker questions
Well, I think the time has come to replace my rear speakers...but I don't know much as far as sound systems go or speakers, so I've got some questions. Will a regular 6" mid fit into this space? Is what I'm looking at back there a speaker cover or the actual speaker? I'm thinking I want to put two JL 6's in place of factory, but I want it to look flush and not all hacked apart. If anyone has any info they can give me or atleast pics of their back speakers (NOT SUBS), that would be awesome.

Is it a hatch or sedan?
If it's a hatch, the grille is part of a larger plastic piece. Look at the sides of it, there should be one screw facing the back of the car and one facing the middle of the hatch. You also will need to flip down the seat, there is a screw on the front of that panel.
Pull the panel off, and you have a 6.5" speaker that is wired directly to the car, no harness. There's plenty of depth so assuming the JL's you're looking at fit a standard 6.5" opening then you should be fine.
