Default Turbo Question

What all is absolutley necessary to piece together a turbo. Such as the turbine, the piping, etc. WHat do I have to have? I was going to buy a kit but I figure if I buy piece by piece a little at a time and get the best parts available then I'll be better off.

Sorry if this is a topic that has already been covered. I'll erase once I have the answer.

1. Turbo Manifold
2. Turbo
3. Downpipe
4. Chargepipe (from turbo to throttle body)
5. A bunch of check-valves (yes I know it's ghetto, but it works!)
6. Fuel Pressure Regulator
(these are optional)
7. Air Filter or Pantyhose
8. Intercooler
9. External wastegate
10. Blow-Off valve
11. Larger Injectors
12. Bigger Fuel Pump
13. Gauges (i.e. Boost, Air/Fuel, etc...)
14. Lots of T-Fittings for the check-valves (Petco or any other pet stores are a great place to find 'em cheap!)

I can't think of anything else yo. But focus on the first 3 or 4 items, worry about the piping and all that other sh*t laters. Good luck playa!

Screw the check valves and fuel pressure regulator.

Get 450 cc/min fuel injectors from an old DSM, the injector resistor box from an '88-'91 Civic, Accord, etc, a nice fuel pump and an A'PEXi S-AFC or V-AFC.

Set the fuel trim on the AFC to -40% across the RPM range and voila. No check engine light because the AFC modifies the MAP signal and the right fuel curve. It'll work right, just I don't feel like typing it all out.
